We just arrived at this beautiful beach house that again, belongs to Simone. At the beach when the tide goes out there are so many crabs and rock pools.

We just arrived in Melbourne. You should see the house we are staying in. It belongs to my uncle’s daughter. Her name is Simone.
Today I went to the Underwater World Aquarium. There are over 16 areas that you can visit. Some of the areas are shark shipwreck, bay of rays and turtle temple. We went on a behind the scenes tour where they take good care of marine life. We saw baby jellyfish and and injured turtles. There are special shows that you can be called up to feed seals and touch starfish. Some of our marine life are almost extinct so we need to help them repopulate. I hope you can help save our marine life. Here is a site you can visit, turtle watch.com.
This is a picture of a Stonefish which are poisonous.
Koalas are pregnant for 35 days.
They are marsupials, which means they give birth through the cloaca and the baby climbs up the mom’s tummy and into the pouch where they continue to grow.
They only eat one kind of leaf which is the eucalyptus.
They have 3 layers of fur because they have no body fat.
They sleep for 18 to 20 hours a day because the eucalyptus leaf provides little energy.
But they are the cutest animal in the world.
Jack and I built this awesome sand castle. We built it because we wanted to see how long it could survive when the tide was coming in.
I walked 6 km up a mountain to reach Hell’s Gate at the top. At Hell’s Gate it was so windy it would move you! Have you ever been to Hell’s Gate?
For sure when I grow up, I will get my boating license. I had so much fun.
This is our captain, Mark.
Sorry I hit the wrong button yesterday. Here is yesterday’s news.
It is illegal to catch and keep female crabs because when they lay their eggs only 1% of the million eggs they lay survive. The way to tell the gender, if it is a boy or a girl, is by looking at their tummy. The males have a triangle on their tummy and the females have an oval. They may not look good but they are delicious.
