At the blue pool

On Thursday the heat wave continued so we went to the blue pool which is a giant rock pool in Bermagui. When the tide is coming in there is a ledge where the waves break and you get dumped on. You can see all kinds of fish, crabs and plants in the rock pool. We had lots of fun at the blue pool

Here is a picture of the blue pool.

The second photo is me about to be dumped on.

In the evening we went out on our balcony to see the Southern Cross which are 5 stars lined up to look like a cross. The bottom star of the cross points to the south. The Aboriginals and the sailors used the Southern Cross to find their way home and see what time it was.

HI Cole – catching up on your photos – you have been busy! I really am envious of the “blue pool” – it looked amazing. I really like the photo of your “pre-dump” splash! Take care – Anne

I wish we had a blue pool in Kelowna, that would be awesome especially if it had tons of creatures to look at when you swam…really enjoying all of your photos and hearing of all of your adventures!!
